Wisdom: Books That Will Make a Difference in Your Life

Updated: Sep 30, 2023

These 50+ books have changed how I think, and positively shifted the dial in my life.

You won't like all of them, however, I guarantee you'll find a few that dramatically shift the dial in Your life 🚀.

I've split the books into five categories:

  1. Psychology and Performance

  2. Philosophy and Values

  3. Leadership, sales and Influence

  4. Mindfulness and Spirit

  5. Habits and Behaviours

If you want to ‘dip your toe in’, or are only starting to learn about these topics, I recommend you choose any of the books I’ve highlighted. The highlighted books are a good starting point within that category. To be clear, they aren’t necessarily my favourites, but they are books that I think are a great place for you to start with in that category.

I've also included links to an online retailer for each book. If a book is in italics, then it’s one that I’ve started, but haven’t finished reading yet. However, I’ve already found enough gems of wisdom in the book to know that it deserves to be in this list.

I am sure you'll find plenty of wisdom for yourself in this list, so happy reading 😊.

If you want to dig a little deeper, then reach out on any of our social channels, or send me an email @ gareth@mindhabit.com.au and I'm happy to discuss any of the books with you. Let's wrap it up with a quote from Elon Musk on the importance of reading: “I read books and talked to people. I mean that's kind of how one learns anything. There's lots of great books out there and lots of smart people.” I don't agree with everything Elon says, but in this case, I'm onboard his rocket.

Keep on smiling out there.

Cheers,

Gareth
